The Producers and director Boney Kapoor recently tweeted to inform his followers about the kind gesture of the Dubai government as they granted him and his family 10 years of Golden Visa. In his text, he mentions that this was the best decision made by the government. He tweeted, “Grateful to Dubai government for granting me and my family a 10 years golden visa. The government imposed the Golden Visa in 2019, as a new system, which allowed investors and entrepreneurs, as well as professionals and specialized talents in the field of science, knowledge, and sports, to apply for it. These golden visas are issued for five or ten years and are subjected to renewal accordingly.
Apart from Boney Kapoor Bollywood actors like Sunil Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Mohanlal, and Tovino Thomas also has been granted a golden visa by Dubai Government. Boney Kapoor’s wife late actress Sridevi who lost her life due to accidental drowning in the bathtub. The actor had gone to Dubai to attend a family wedding and had stayed behind for a few days as the rest of the family returned. before this actor, Sanjay Dutt and Mammootty too expressed their gratitude.
Sanjay Dutt who was staying in Dubai with her wife Manyata Dutt and his twins took Instagram to inform his fans about the Golden Visa. The actor in his post had mentioned that he received the prestigious visa “in the presence of Major General Mohammed Al Marri, Director General of General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) – Dubai.” He also thanked the UAE Government and Hamad Obaidalla, COO of flydubai for support.
Mammootty too expressed his gratitude he tweeted, “My sincere gratitude to H E Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa Al Hammadi for my UAE Golden Visa! Many thanks to my brother Yusuff Ali M.A for helping make this happen.”
On a work front, Boney Kapoor’s last film was the Pawan Kalyan starer Telugu movie, Vakeel Saab. The movie was released on April 9, 2021, and was a box-office hit. It was the official Telugu remake of the Hindi movie PINK and starred Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, Ananya Nagalla, Prakash Raj, and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles.
