BTS announces United States tour to be held in November and December
HollywoodK Pop boy band, BTS has so much up their sleeve for their fans. The band has announced its online concert and also a live concert in Los Angeles in November and December. Can their fans keep calm?
K-pop sensation BTS announced their first offline international concert since 2019 via the official fan community, WeVerse. Titled “BTS Permission to Dance on Stage–LA”, the concert will be held in Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium in November and later in December. They also announced their online performance “BTS Permission to Dance On Stage”, which will be held on October 24.
The seven-member band, comprising RM, V, Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook, Park Ji-min, and Jin, held their last world tour: “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” in 2019 in Seoul.
Performance details
“BTS Permission to Stage” will be held at LA’s SoFi Stadium from November 27 to 28, and from December 1 to December 2. Pre-sale tickets are available on WeVerse and Ticketmaster.
BTS also performed for the Global Citizen Live Concert, which brings together artists across the globe, on September 25. They performed “Permission to Dance” one of their hit songs for the occasion.
Sensational rise to fame
BTS, or the Bangtan Boys, was formed in 2010 with their debut album “2 Cool 4 Skool” releasing in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment. The band members include The South Korean boy band soon became a huge hit in America, smashing world records and winning a slew of awards.
They find resonance with fans for their songs are relatable and covers a wide genre and their lyrics address everything from mental health to loving oneself, from loss to social issues.
BTS hit the number one slot with their track “Dynamite” on the Billboard Global 200 and US Billboard Hot 100 in 2020, making it the first South Korean band to do so.
Hit tracks
Their latest track, “Butter” released in 2021, received on September 23, three new certifications gold, platinum, and double-platinum from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). They received their first “double platinum” from America in March 2021 for their track “Dynamite”, which also fetched them a Grammy nomination.
