Looking for the right movie to watch? Here’s what you need to chase your lockdown blues away!

Radhika Pandit, who started her career with television soaps such as Nandagokula Kaadambari and Sumangali, made her film debut with Moggina Manasu, for which she was awarded the Karnataka State Film Award for ‘Best Actress.’ Since then, the beauty has only delivered stellar performances in every role that she has taken up. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see much of Radhika on screen. However, here’s one movie that you need to revisit for many many reasons during this happy festive season!

Plotline

The story revolves around Surya, a short-tempered youngster, who cooks biryani at a local market. He meets Usha, whom he saves from goons, and gives a lift to, till the drama studio. It is then revealed that Usha is actually Nisha, who is participating in the drama. This romantic film is cute and gives its leading lady Radhika ample scope to perform.

Performance

Radhika Pandit has always given the best performances. However, her character as Usha is a perfect mix of negative and positive which we get to see when it is revealed that she belongs with the goons. We also see her conflicted state of mind when we see her falling for Surya which from being a pretence turns into a genuine feeling of love for him. This movie is a must-watch if you wish to see the pretty actress excel with her expressions and comic timing.

Sense Of Comic Timing

Speaking of comic timing, the story has been well-scripted in a way that it does not get too heavy. Serious issues in the most intense scenes always have a tinge of comedy in it and needless to say, comedy is the most difficult genre that has been explored in the most accurate way in this film. What also makes this film special is the fact that Surya is played by Puneet Rajkumar and the late Ambareesh who has a great sense of humour not only in the film but also in reality.
