Chembarathi: Here’s how stopping Ganga from leaving could go either way for Priyanka

In the latest episode of Chembarathi, we saw Priyanka stop Ganga from fleeing and take her along. During the events, it was rather evident that something changed between the sisters and Priyanka was holding onto something. From what we can deduce, Priyanka has lost her grip over her plans as the wedding fiasco went down and she was arrested. Now, she wants revenge but is not in the best position to move in its favour. She needs all the help she could get and thus, couldn’t afford to let Ganga simply flee the scene. She stopped her sister and gave her a speech which seemed to have some effects in motivating her.

Firstly, it wasn’t a big surprise for the fans of Chembarathi, that Ganga was trying to flee without anyone’s notice. It was a move long overdue and we had seen it coming for the longest time. It all started when Ganga got herself arrested by the police, wished for someone to save her. As it turned out, Anand came to her rescue and took her back to Trichambarath. Without realizing the big picture, she fell for this and began to believe that Anand really cared for her. She even told Priyanka about her newly found respect for Anand which was immediately shot down by the latter. Priyanka explained that it all could just be a play set up by Anand in the first place.

This explanation did the job but didn’t have a lasting effect on Ganga. We learnt this when Priyanka gatecrashed the Trichambarath family’s wedding and threatened to stop the marriage from happening. Ganga, who was supposed to be siding with Priyanka on this situation, seemed less interested. She seemed to be detached from the evil plan at this point and was rather sad about the wedding being cancelled. We would like to believe that this was due to her newly found interest in Anand.

Now, after days from the event, Ganga finally made up her mind to leave it all behind and escape. But like always, Priyanka caught and crushed her plan in the bud. Priyanka even explained how she needed her little sister to destroy Trichambarath. But, instead of being motivated by these words, Ganga seemed scared and was tearing up throughout the meeting. Now, this could either mean one of two things. One is the fact that she was scarred by the cancelled wedding or it could mean that she now holds some regards for Anand like she tried to explain earlier.

Now that Priyanka has taken Ganga along with her, it is a waiting game to see what evil plan she comes up with next. Whatever she plans to do, it would be more interesting to see how Ganga reacts to them now that things have changed a bit.
