The romantic comedy film Chi Va Chi Sau Ka starring Lalit Prabhakar and Mrinmayee Godbole as Satyaprakash and Savitri is a satirical drama on marriage. The film won over the hearts of the audience with it’s sweet portrayal of the couple and their complicated relations. In the film, Savitri’s sister Ragini played an important role and the character was essayed by Sharmishtha Raut, who was loved for her performance as a fiesty and opinionated woman. The actress is currently in news as she is stepping into a new phase of her life. On June 21, 2020, the actress got engaged to Tejas Desai.

Sharmishtha and Tejas had a fairytale engagement, surrounded by their families, amidst the lockdown. They thanked everyone for their wishes and for virtually being a part of their big day.
The actress and her fiance are the second Marathi couple to be in the news for their engagement. Recently, Sonalee Kulkarni also declared the news of her engagement to beau Kunal. Sharmishtha’s engagement ceremony was a small and family-based affair.
The actress posted a very beautiful picture from the ceremony and added that she is very happy that she has found someone who truly cares for her as her soulmate. The actress and her beau are using the social media trend of a hashtag – #ShamTej. The two acknowledged their fans in a special way by posting a thank you note on their Instagram accounts.
