At the time of writing, the post had received over three hundred thousand likes and twenty thousand retweets from fans who wished to show their support for the Marvel actor. Fans also expressed gratitude to the actor for illustrating that mental health concerns impact everyone, saying they felt recognised and validated by him.

The actor’s fans associated with him. One of the fans, who also happens to be a therapist, said that he appreciated Chris Evans’ openness about his anxiety, and that it made him feel validated as his anxiety spiked in the middle of the day for no apparent reason.

Fans reaction on the post

Another fan commented on how it made him feel weird seeing that Chris Evans was so relatable.
