Baarish Aur Chowmein stars Taapsee Pannu and Amit Sadh, and is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia. This film tells the story of a young man who comes to Mumbai, to begin his career, and falls in love with a struggler, trying to make it in the film industry. However, the boy, Siraj, hides his true identity and pretends to be a Hindu, so that he can have an easier life.

Desi Boyz is a unique romantic comedy about two male strippers. John Abraham and Akshay Kumar play the role of two people who take up stripping during the recession to survive. The movie shows how their job affects their love life and how their partners help them improve their lives.

Nushrat Bharucha says that Akaash Vani is the best film, and the one closest to her heart, and for good reason. This film is a heartfelt story of Vani, who is forced to marry a man her parents chose for her, and who turns out to be abusive. Her life changes when she meets Akaash, her best friend from college and falls in love with him.
