Coachella 2022: Billie Eilish And Kanye West To Headline The Event; Will The Event Get Delayed Further? – DEETS INSIDE

The Coachella festival, which is already sold out, will actually occur during the weekends of April 15-17 and April 22-24, 2022, at the Empire Polo Ground in Indio, California. However, given the frightening omicron spike and the Grammy Awards’ deferral this week, many are questioning if the event will go ahead in April or be rescheduled for the fifth time.

According to reports, Billie Eilish and Kanye West will lead the 2022 Coachella event on Saturday and Sunday night, correspondingly. Swedish House Mafia is also on the schedule, however, it’s unknown if they’ll be the show’s third feature, the typical “throwback” position for a more seasoned artist’s reuniting.

In 2011, West was the festival’s headliner, and Eilish had a breakout concert in 2019. She’d be the first and only female musician to headline the extravagant event. Coachella, North America’s largest music event, has indeed sold out its 125,000 per-day passes, and the inherent economics of more than 100,000 individuals flying to and congregating at a single site creates incalculable infection dissemination opportunities.

The planned headliners for this 21st edition of the event, Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, and Rage Against the Machine, were confirmed in January of 2020, but the event has been postponed four times owing to the outbreak. The 2022 festival also sparked debate when it ditched its previous compulsory vaccination stance in favor of evidence of a negative test within 72 hours of the event, however, the backlash stemmed more from the festival’s unusually covert unveiling via its official Instagram account than from the move itself.
