Daughter’s Day special: In Chembarathi, here’s how Akhilandeshwari saw a daughter in Kalyani!

We love Akhilandeshwari aka Thara Kalyan’s fantastic screen presence on the Malayalam show Chembarathi. She is a caring and strong mother to her sons and considers everyone as a family. Kalyani (Amala Gireeshan) shares a special bond with Akhila as she sees her deceased mother and guide in the latter. 1. Akhila apologizes to Kalyani

The first thing Akhila looks for when she comes back from her long break is Kalyani’s presence in the kitchen. Akhila slaps Kalyani when she gets irritated to know that the latter had gone to the market.

Later, Akhila visits Kalyani and apologizes for slapping her. Akhila also says that she was looking forward to seeing her and eat food especially prepared by her. Akhila made us emotional when she told Kalyani that it is her nature to hurt the ones who are closest to her.

2. Akhila thanks Kalyani for her efforts

Even with the presence of Ganga and Vilasini in the house, Akhila gives the duties of the rituals to Kalyani. Not only she prepares perfect decorations, but Kalyani also delivers what Akhila envisages. After one such pooja, a delighted Akhila holds Kalyani closer and kisses her on the forehead thanking her for the efforts. The special gesture from Akhila was one of the best moments on the show for all of us.

3. Akhila makes Kalyani take the Aarti

According to Thrichambarath tradition, the eldest female member is supposed to welcome special guests like Swami with the Aarti. Akhila recognizes Kalyani’s efforts and asks her to take the Aarti to welcome the Swami who came for the pooja. Nandana and Ganga instantly feel jealous of Kalyani as they have never gotten such special treatment from Akhilandeshwari.

4. Akhila supports Kalyani

Vilasini makes an issue when she finds Kalyani wearing a saree instead of her old attire. She forcefully makes Kalyani change the saree to the uniform saree worn by the servants. Instead of agreeing with Vilasini, Akhila supports Kalyani and appreciates her transformation.
