Dharm Deol, known famously as Dharmendra is an Indian actor, producer, and politician who is known for his work in Hindi films. The He-Man of Bollywood has worked in over 300 films in his career spanning five decades. In 1997, he received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to Hindi cinema. In 2012, he also was awarded India’s third-highest civilian honor Padma Bhushan by the Government of India.
Dharmendra recently has shared an old clip from a TV show where the actor was a guest and had visited his ancestral house in Sahnewal village in Ludhiana as part of the programme.
In the video, the actor can be seen walking through the narrow lanes of his village to reach his ancestral house amid several starstruck fans. He opens the lock and gets surprised after seeing his renovated house. He finds several family pictures hung up on the wall of his living room and starts talking about them one by one. He has introduced his family members from the black and white pictures in the video. He also has pointed towards his solo portrait and revealed that this was the same picture he had sent for a talent contest.

One more clip shared by one of his fans from the same TV show revealed a funny incident that he and his brother once broke a chair in a fight and were afraid that their father would beat them up if he found it. The two brothers tied it up in a neat way and placed it in the living room. Their aunt who came to visit their place the same day sat on the chair. When their father came to know that the chair was broken, they blamed their aunt for the same.

On the same show, the actor also revealed how he filed an application in the talent contest, and for that, he recited Gayatri Mantra before dropping it in the letterbox. He use to call the letterbox a temple and his application as chadhawa.
