Did You Know Band Vaaje’s Mandy Takhar And Nikka Zaildar’s Wamiqa Gabbi Are Great Friends?

We keep hearing of catfights and jealousies among two leading actresses. It is presumed that two A-list actresses can never work together in a movie. But here we are with a nice exception and best friends from Pollywood. They are none other than Band Vaaje star Mandy Takhar and Nikka Zaildar 2 actress Wamiqa Gabbi.

Mandy and Wamiqa are one of the few but true friends whose friendship has stood the test of time. Both actresses met on the sets of Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22 (2012) and since Mandy is elder to Wamiqa, she got a sisterly vibe from her. Check out their whacky masti moments.

Apart from this film, Mandy and Wamiqa have been seen in some shows together. They also keep sharing their love for each other on social media. When Mandy completed 10 years in Pollywood, Wamiqa commented on her post and said, “Wow!!! Mandy, I remember when Mirza came and everyone was in awe of you including me ♥️ You are sooooo beautiful inside out. I know you are a hard worker with a ‘learning’ soul and I love that about you. God bless you Mandaaaa and Congratulations. Love you”.

In a chat show hosted by Ammy Virk, Wamiqa and Mandy appeared as guests. There, Wamiqa shared that during the shoot of their film, she came on set with costume and make-up, but Mandy saw her look and didn’t like it. She took Wamiqa aside and did her make-up again. Later, when Wamiqa arrived on set with Mandy’s make-up, she looked so good that her look was used in the film’s teaser. From then onwards, their bond has been growing strong.

On Mandy’s birthday, Wamiqa shared a video with a really long post and it seems that she has poured her heart into it.

Mandy saw this, she reposted it and shared her own feelings for Wamiqa by saying, “Omg .. I’m speechless Gaamo @wamiqagabbi. Words are falling short, I just don’t know what to say. I need time to articulate to express gratitude to you for being so thoughtful… For now #Thankyou.
