Actor Saif Ali Khan reveals that ‘Go Goa Gone’ was a niche film for which he was not paid, and that this was the only way for the film to earn money

In recent months, actor Saif Ali Khan has made headlines. While his most recent film, ‘Bhoot Police,’ received a lot of attention online, he recently wrapped production on his magnum opus, ‘Adipurush.’ The actor is gearing up to begin filming on ‘Vikram Vedha‘ with Hrithik Roshan next month. This is their second collaboration after ‘Na Tum Jaano Na Hum.’

Khan stated of ‘Go Goa Gone’ and the prospects for horror comedies in the Indian market in a recent interview and in that he said that Go Goa Gone was a very independent, niche sort of a film. It was a zombie comedy that was not intended to be very marketable. It was simply a fun concept, and he wasn’t even compensated for it because it was the only way to help make the movie some money. Bhoot Police is much more commercial and has a deeper entrenched concept. He is now looking forward to developing it into a brand.

The actor added that both his son, Taimur Ali Khan, and his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, loved the film. He claims that it was his son, Taimur, who first showed him the possibilities of the horror genre in India. He tells about his personal experience seeing Mummy. The three of them (Saif, Taimur, and Kareena) were cuddled up, and Taimur was afraid but wasn’t too frightened to bond with his parents. It demonstrated to Saif that the feeling of dread had a great deal of potential. If anything brings you together with your kids, it’s a powerful market in India, and that’s what Saif feels.
