Divya Bharti’s 28th Death Anniversary: Did You Know The Actress Bought A 4 BHK In Mumbai On Her Last Day?

Divya Bharti was truly a one-of-a-kind actress of her times, especially in Bollywood. With 12 films under her belt in the first year of her acting career itself, Divya was winning over countless hearts with her performances and cute looks. April 5, 2021, marks the 28th death anniversary of Divya, who was one of the most quickly celebrated and well-paid stars of her time. The actress had passed away after mysteriously falling out of her apartment window in Mumbai.

While several speculations were made around the possible reasons behind her sudden death, there has been no proper confirmation as to what actually happened till today. All that is known to people about Divya’s demise is that she fell off her apartment window, probably accidentally. While many said it could have been a case of suicide as well, many even blamed her then-husband Sajid Nadiadwala for it. The actress is known to have had bought her own place, a 4 BHK apartment, earlier on the same day as her death. She had just returned to Mumbai from the shoot of a film in Chennai and had to head out to Hyderabad. She was hanging out at her apartment with designer Neeta Lulla and her husband when she went to stand near her window while under the influence of alcohol. Soon after, she fell off from the window, which led to excessive bleeding and the eventual death of the actress in the emergency ward of a hospital.

Signing 12 films in the first year of one’s professional acting career is no joke. But, with her immense talent and beauty, Divya Bharti made it possible for herself in the Bollywood industry. While many have had to wait for years to be able to achieve relatively bigger goals, Divya was one of those who achieved such success quickly. Unfortunately, the actor passed away  when she was just 19 and the news of her sudden death had come as a huge shock to many. April 5, 2021, marked the 28th year death anniversary of the charming actress.
