Despite the fact that director P. Vasu is aware that the persona has been performed by a number of great actors in their different industries, the Kannada actor lends his own uniqueness to the role

There has been high anticipation for filmmaker P Vasu’s Kannada version of the film since the Malayalam sequel, Drishyam 2, was released. When asked if Crazy Star Ravichandran’s Drishyam 2 attempts to match the original Mohanlal-starrer, he said yes. To a considerable extent, the answer is yes.

Rajendra Ponnappa (Ravichandran) and his tiny family were living a peaceful life in Drishya (2014). An undesirable incident puts them on the police’s radar. To keep his family safe, he had to outsmart the law and authorities in the first half of the film. The case is now reopened, and the sequel will see if Rajendra Ponnappa can do it off once more. The film begins slowly, with Rajendra Ponnappa, a wealthy theatre owner who dreams of becoming a film producer. Along with Vijay Shankar, he is seen researching a story.

His wife, on the other hand, has maintained her conservative viewpoint. She is very worried about her family, particularly her two kids. Furthermore, she is concerned about her husband’s increased drinking habits. Rajendra Ponappa, who’s really attempting to reconcile his cable company with his desire to become a producer, ensures the safety of his family. He is vigilant and mindful of how his family’s perspective of the area has altered. When the police make real progress in the murder investigation, things heat up.

Rajendra Ponnappa tries everything he can do to save his family once more. The film is full of emotions while still being exciting. The finale may have provided Rajendra Ponnappa comfort, but there is a suggestion that it may be in the Drishya cosmos. P Vasu, the director, keeps the original flavour. Only the location, characters, and atmosphere have been modified to reflect the Kannada nativity, and the running length has been trimmed by 6 minutes. In the sequel, Ravichandran maintains Rajendra Ponnappa’s appeal. Regardless of the fact that he may be conscious that the character has been performed by a number of great actors in their different industries, the Kannada actor lends his own uniqueness to the role. Navya Nair, who shares screen time with the protagonist, has also delivered a strong performance. Aarohi Narayan, Unnathi, Anant Nag, Asha Sarath, Prabhu, and Pramod Shetty are the other supporting performers who have justified their roles. In addition to Shivaram, Lasya Nagaraj, and Sampath, the film features Shivaram, Lasya Nagaraj, and Sampath. Sadhu Kokila’s humour lightens up an otherwise stressful story. Drishya 2 is a similar remake, but Kannada people who can see it in theatres would find it new. Drishya 2, which belongs to Ravichandran in general, is a suspense family film.
