Prep:
For this gorgeous hydrated look, prep is the key. Start with cleansing, toning and moisturising and a good under eye cream. A good primer always saves your day. Use a liquid illuminator on your cheek bones and nose ridge for the perfect translucent shine. This look can be donned during day or night.
Face:
We are aiming at medium to full coverage here. So let’s begin with colour correction, that would be peaches to orange concealer on your dark circles or pigmentation depending on how deep it is or green concealer if there is redness. Next, we take foundation closest to the skin colour and build it up on the coverage required using brush or beauty blender. If you still feel the need of concealing, then a dark shade concealer can be applied for full coverage for spot correction. Use a pink cream blush on the apples of your cheeks and contour with a cream darker shade foundation for your higher cheek bones and a perfect jaw line. Set with translucent powder. Use a baby soft pink blush and soft gold highlighter on your cheeks.
Eyes:
For perfect brown smoky eyes which complements Indian skin, you need to start with an eye primer or concealer to set base for eye shadow. Take a soft brown one to define the crease line with a fluffy blending brush. Use a little bit and just blend on the crease line. Take a brown or black kajal pencil and make a thick eyeliner. Using a pencil brush, smudge it till your crease line. Then apply a brown powder eye shadow for the perfect smoky effect. You can define more with a hint of black on the outer corner. We prefer going without a typical eye liner and kajal. So instead, use the method of tight lining on the inner rim of the lash line and just a soft brown eyeshadow on the lower lash line with a pencil brush. Curl your eyelashes and apply mascara. Fill in your eyebrows to make it look natural.
Lips:
Outline your lips with a darker pink lip liner and fill with the same. Use a softer pink cream-based lipstick and a transparent gloss just in the centre to complete this look. Use a makeup fixer or setting spray all over your face.
