On May 13, ZEE5 is all set to launch 5 of your most favourite Zindagi shows for online streaming, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr! And we have 3 delicious Eid-special recipes that you can cook while streaming these shows online on the ZEE5 platform.

1. Gauhar E Nayab

Gauhar E Nayab stars Sajal Ali as a lively Gohar in a lead role. It follows the story of how a happily-ever-after dreamer Gauhar is wedded off to her paternal cousin Sami, without the knowledge of the revengeful desires of her inlaws. Zaheen Tahira and Sarah Khan also play key roles in the show.

Meanwhile, how about also cooking up some Eid special mutton Biryani while streaming the show? To make a mouth-watering Mutton Biryani, boil rice in water with caraway seeds, salt, whole garam masala and potli masala. Layer marinated chicken, boiled rice, and other ingredients in a deep pan and cook. Seal the pan’s lid with flour dough and cook. Watch the recipe below!

Teri Berukhi stars Shahood Alvi, Savera Nadeem, and Sumbul Iqbal, in lead roles.  This Zindagi TV show revolves around the lives of two individuals, Aleena and Numair, who divorced each other and remarried other people but are met with a situation where they need to choose to reunite or continue living separate lives.

3. Mere Humdum Mere Dost

Mere Humdum Mere Dost stars Adnan Siddiqui, Sanam Jung, Hareem Farooq, Shamim Hilaly, and Farhan Ali Agha in pivotal roles. It revolves around the lives of a girl, Aima, and her father’s friend, Haider, who she is left in the care of. While they fall in love eventually, their age gap makes Haider hesitate to admit it. A choice he eventually makes puts Aiman’s life on a threshold.

That sounds like an interesting plot, right? What can make it more interesting is a lip-smacking serving of Haleem. Is Eid celebration even complete without some Haleem? To prepare Haleem, cook marinated mutton with soaked wheat, moong dal, urad dal and chana dal in a pressure cooker. Add other ingredients like green chilli paste, ginger-garlic paste, shahi jeera, mint leaves and more and cook more. Remove mutton pieces and blend the rest in a mixer after cooling, and add the pieces back again. Then cook it in ghee, with added milk and salt. The detailed recipe is right below!

Manjali is a Zindagi TV show that stars Mikaal Zulfiqar and Mehwish Hayat in lead roles. It follows the struggles of a rather willful young girl who is unconventional and has great ambitions. Unfortunately, her father and humble background get in the way of her free-spirited approach towards life.

5. Jo Chale To Jaan Se Guzar Gaye

Jo Chale To Jaan Se Guzar Gaye features actors Noman Ijaz, Sami Khan, and Saba Qamar. The story revolves around an ordinary girl, Zufishan, who is forced to marry a rich landlord, Alim Shah, despite being engaged and in love with a boy named Azar already. She finds herself torn between force, love and sacrifice when Azar asks her to divorce Alim, upon realising the reality of their marriage.
