Actor John Abraham recently took to social media to announce a new film that he is doing with director Mohit Suri. The film will be the second instalment of the 2014 blockbuster, Ek Villain, which was also directed by Mohit. This new film is expected to star Disha Patani, Tara Sutaria, and Arjun Kapoor, amongst others. Fans have high expectations from the film since the previous part had a solid story and a promising cast lineup. The poster of the film is being vividly shared by the fans and the director has promised intense drama and thrill in the upcoming sequel. Ek Villain Returns has been scheduled for 2022 and the film is currently in the pre-production stage.

The film will be directed by Mohit Suri and the production will be collaboratively carried out by T-Series and Balaji Telefilms. The team has also roped in an interesting cast lineup with actors like John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, and Disha Patani. Disha Patani and Arjun Kapoor have already worked with Mohit Suri in the past but John Abraham and Tara Sutaria will be seen collaborating with the director for the first time. The team has also announced that the film will release on February 11, 2022.

In the poster shared on social media, the iconic scary emoticon has been flashed in the middle of a dark road. The spotlight emoticon shows a creepy and evil smile while the rest of the buildings on the street drown in darkness. The title ‘Ek Villian’ has been written in a nostalgic format and a contrasting yellow colour has been used to give it the sequel touch. They have also mentioned that the film will hit the theatres in exactly 365 days. Fans have flooded the comments section with compliments reflecting their sheer excitement for the project.
