EXCLUSIVE: Dear Fans, Please Accept Me As Mrudula, Says Madhubala

The hit Telugu TV show Ninne Pelladatha, is all set to see a new face as Mrudula, one of the lead characters. So far, actor  Bhoomi Shetty was playing the role of the shy girl in the Telugu serial. However, she just announced her exit from the show. We exclusively reported that the new girl stepping in the shoes of Ninne Pelladatha‘s Mrudula is none other than actor Madhubala, who has been a part of the Telugu TV industry for many years now. She has earlier played the role of Vaidehi in the hit Zee Telugu show Gruhapravesam.

When we contacted Madhubala for an interview, she was busy with the preparations and practice sessions for Dance Jodi Dance. However, the pretty actor took some time out and answered questions over WhatsApp, in an exclusive interview with ZEE5. Here are edited excerpts:

Q. How does it feel to be associated with one of the top Zee Telugu shows?

A. I feel really blessed to be part of the Zee Telugu family again, after Gruhapravesam. This time I am associated with Annapurna Studios. I feel extremely honoured.

Q. What do you think of Mrudula as a character?

A. I think that Mrudula as a character is a very reserved person. And if the need arises, she can even sacrifice her life for her family.

Q. What would you like to say to the fans of Mrudula and Ninne Pelladatha?

A. For the fans of Mrudula, my request is to please accept me just like you accepted Bhoomi Shetty in the character. My promise to you guys is that I will entertain you all and become a part of your family too. Please bless me!

Q. What will be the challenges for you while playing the character?

A. Playing Mrudula is definitely a little challenging because she is a very reserved person. She is not the hyperactive kind. Playing someone like this is entirely new to me.

Q. Will you do it your way or follow what Bhoomi did?

A. Doing it in the same old manner wouldn’t make any difference. I will surely keep Mrudula’s qualities intact and yet try to do something new in my own way.
