Exclusive: I Saw Maharashtra Reflected In Every State, Says Home Minster’s Aadesh Bandekar

For over decade, we witnessed the team of Home Minister visit every nook and corner of Maharashtra just to celebrate the women of the house. Every fresh episode, we saw the host interviewing the women and their family while playing games with them. Sometimes, the light-hearted tone of the show, also took an emotional turn when these families expressed their grievances and the things that they were grateful for. In such sensitive situations, Aadesh Bhauji became one with their joys and sorrows. So, this time as Home Minister Bharat Daura is going to travel to the whole of India, we took this opportunity to interview our kind-hearted Bhauji during the ZEE5 calendar launch for January 2020. You know you are lucky when a busy man like Aadesh Bhauji agrees to do an interview with you. After always seen him passionately tour and visit various homes, the host of Home Minister sat with us to answer our questions. When we asked him the best part about visiting new places beyond Maharashtra, he said, “When I ventured out of Maharashtra, I saw a part of it reflected in every state which I went to. Like, in Delhi, Ahemdabad and Indore, there are buildings which have just Maharashtrian families residing in them. The women of these families have blended both the cultures so thoughtfully and in this process, have broken the boundaries that separate the states.” We couldn’t help but admire the deep respect he had for women whom he credited for keeping the family together.

Aadesh also explained how the Maharashtrian culture still remained intact even after the families migrated to different regions in India. The best part was when the team of the Home Minister was welcomed by dhol-tasha and lezim by the families beyond Maharashtra.
