Zee Marathi‘s popular family drama Mrs Mukhyamantri is the story of a small-town girl Summi who falls in love with the chief minister of the state, Samar. The show has successfully entertained the audiences with its thrilling plotline, with Samar-Summi’s grand wedding being the highlight of the serial. Even after their marriage, Samar has pursued his political career while Summi continues handling her small restaurant. Samar is still being troubled by his fierce competitor in politics, Shinde. In the recent episode, we saw that he sends his daughter Ragini disguised as Dhanashree, to become Samar’s personal assistant. Will Samar realise that Dhanashree is Shinde’s daughter? We shall find out soon!

Meanwhile, the couple tries to look for calm amidst the chaos. In the track of the latest episode, we will see the couple celebrating the festival of Gudi Padwa. And we have some exclusive pictures from the episode for you guys! For the two, it’s even more special because it’s their first-ever Gudi Padwa post their marriage! The couple will be seen celebrating the festival-which marks the start of the new year for Maharashtrians- in a perfectly traditional way. Samar and Summi will follow the traditional rituals of raising the Gudi on a wooden stick, adorned with garlands and flowers. Samar will then place an inverted vessel on top.
Summi will be seen smearing the Gudi with haldi and kumkum.
In this picture below, the couple can be seen praying before the Gudi. The floor where the Gudi is raised is adorned with decorative rangolis.
Samar-Summi will then seek the blessings of their family members, especially from Summi’s favourite Bayo Ajji.
Meanwhile, Anuradha aka Tai Madam will be seen advising Samar during the celebrations.
On the other hand, the new entrant in the show Dhanashree, who’s now hired as Samar’s personal assistant, will also celebrate Gudi Padwa at the factory.
She will raise the Gudi with the help of Samar’s servant Baban, which will be then followed by an aarti.
