Several Bollywood celebrities have been trying their best to help the Indian citizens who have been infected by COVID-19. Actors like Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and many other actors have been creating awareness about the same. Farhan Akhtar realised that there are many fake medicines that are being sold.

There has been a lot of urgent need for COVID-19 medicines like Remdesivir as the COVID-19 cases in India have increased. Farhan Akhtar noticed that people are selling fake COVID-19 medicines and called them out. He called them monsters who con people during such dark times. As soon as Farhan tweeted about the fake medicines, many people came forward to talk about the same. They wrote about their experiences when they faced such situations. A Twitter user mentioned that there are people who have been selling oxygen like it is gold. She added that she bought 1 Vial of Avastin for 1.2 lakhs and when she looked up for it on the internet she realised that it was available for 28,000 only. Users mentioned that these people are not even shameless. Another user wrote that demons can even feast on the misery of others.
