Fashion Friday: Outfits worn by Kajal Aggarwal and Samyuktha Hegde in Comali that stole our hearts

Comali is an absolute laugh riot and will make you want to go back to the 90s where people were more connected offline and ‘online’ was not a common concept. However, the leading ladies of Comali will take you through the evolution of fashion from the 90’s as you see Samyuktha Hegde in an endearing outfit from the era and Kajal wearing dresses that will set trends for the next year.

1) Polka dots and nets 

For a song sequence in the movie, Kajal wore this salmon-red dress that we cannot take our eyes off of. The dress was a sleeveless and polka-dotted on the top half and netted for the bottom half. We think she looks like a goddess in this dress and we couldn’t help but put it first on the list.

2) Saree with a twist 

There’s a lot more experimenting left to do with our traditional sarees and Kajal proves it with this Yellow saree that she wore in the movie. The look is unmissable and along with sleek straight hair, it makes all the heads turn. Kajal wore the silk saree for the same song sequence as above.

3) A green netted dress

Kajal Aggarwal as Rithika Mohan nails every bit of the movie and if her performance will not make you fall for her, her outfits definitely will. Take for example this see-through netted green dress that she has paired with earrings that can get all the attention. We definitely need more of this dress and Kajal in it.

4) Back to the 90s 

Samyuktha Hegde will take you right back to the endearing eras of the 90’s with her clothes. From the belted floral skirt to the hair tied up high in a pony, she shows us everything that is loveable about the era. Those minimalistic studs go with her outfit like they were all made for her!

5) A simple blue dress

Kajal proves that she does not need heavy dresses and far-fetched makeup to look like a queen. She manages to steal all hearts with a minimal blue dress that has a simple pattern. The dress paired with hoops elevates the beauty of the look and we wish we could pull it off like her

6) The floral kurta and a retro hair tie 

Samyuktha steals the show yet again by recreating a 90’s look. The colour of her dress and her hairstyle shout the era and we have no complaints. It makes us want to dress as they did back in those days and we cannot be blamed. From the puffed up sleeves to the style of the Kurti, we want it all back!

7) A black crop top with a jacket 

Kajal seems like having the most fun with her looks in the movie and we can’t take our eyes off of her, she paired a jacket with a black crop top and pair of trousers with the same print as the jacket. The outfit paired with a pair of sneakers and pulled back hair is complete perfection!
