Fittrat is an upcoming web series announced by ZEE5 and ALTBalaji on Monday. The respective OTT platforms took to their social media accounts to share a poster of Krystle D’souza from the digital drama. Slated to release on 18 October 2019, Fittrat features an ensemble and an interesting storyline.

It revolves around Tarini Bisht, played by Krystle, a girl chasing everything that glitters. She is young, ambitious and a gold-digger who is a gold medalist. All she cares about is becoming rich! Ekta Kapoor, head honcho of ALTBalaji, called Tarini as her ‘most fascinating character.’ Life gives her everything but it is only later Tarini realizes she is her own hero! Ekta’s description and the poster have certainly piqued our interest in Fittrat. What about you?

Batti Gul Meter Chalu and Wedding Pullav fame Anushka Ranjan has been roped in to play Amrita Sareen on Fittrat. Amrita is a poised, graceful, beautiful girl from Delhi and a complete daddy’s princess. She is best friends with Tarini since childhood and wants her BFF to marry her brother.

Namaste England and Student of the Year 2 star Aditya Seal joins Fittrat as Veer Shergill, Amrita’s fiance. Vir aspires to become the next big thing and is very calculative with his moves. Marrying Amrita is a part of his plan, but things change when the charmer meets her bestie Tarini.

Aru Verma is set to play Gaurab Sareen, Amrita’s brother in Fittrat. He is a goofy chap, good-hearted and very chill. Gaurab has a soft spot for Tarini.

Priyanka Bhatia’s character Mallika Kapoor is a mother’s pet. She is a typical young show off socialite who wants to marry Gaurav.

Mohit Chauhan will essay Krystle’s father in Fittrat. His character Alok Bisht is a caring and composed daddy to Tarini.  He understands his daughter’s need to succeed despite misgivings.

Tekchand Sareen, played by Kaizaad Kotwal, is a wise but shrewd businessman who loves his children. He allows Veer and Amrita’s marriage only because he knows his daughter loves the boy. He is ruthless when it comes to his kids’ happiness or his business.

Divya Seth Shah comes on board to bring to life Amrita’s mother Janki Sareen. Janki is a taskmaster, spiteful, image-conscious and insecure. She hates Tarini and her guts.

Babla Kocchar is set to play Suresh Shergill, Veer’s father. Suresh is an intelligent, patient but ruthless man from small-town who wants to make it to the A-list. He pushes Veer to seal the deal with Amrita and doesn’t like his son getting distracted from the plan.

Govind Pandey, who played Ishaan Khatter’s father in Dhadak, joins the series as OP Kapoor. OP is villainous, corrupt and two-faced. He is Mallika’s father who wants to get richer by getting his daughter married to Gaurav. He and Veer have a plan to get their ambitious project (building a township) rolling with Tekchand’s name and money.

Kaushalya Gidwani’s character Pinky Kapoor is condescending, critical and cruel. Pinky is Mallika’s mother who always keeps criticizing her daughter for the way she looks and handles Gaurav. Both OP and Pinky want Mallika to marry Gaurav at any cost!

Aditya Lal has been roped in to portray Arun, an ambitious, hard-working and strong-headed heir to a TV channel facing financial losses. He initially agrees to Tarini’s plans to get his channel back in the game but ultimately double-crosses her and sides with Veer.
