Mridula Vijai’s character Samyuktha from Pookalam Varavayi holds a special place in all of our hearts for her many memorable moments on screen. Her chemistry with other characters like Abhimanyu, Piyush as well as the villainess Sharmilla has given us several enjoyable moments from the show. By giving stern and bold replies, Samyuktha has saved not only Saptathi but also Abhimanyu in many situations. Looking at a positive outlook towards life, the character of Samyuktha offers us a lot to learn.

Here are several lessons we can all take away from Pookalam Varavayi’s Samyuktha.

Never give up on the ones you love

Samyuktha has always portrayed a strong will that is difficult to break and everyone knows that she never gives up. Even when Abhimanyu fires her from the office, she continues to love him for being an imperfect mess. She could’ve easily been defeated by Sharmilla using Rasheed, but Samyuktha’s strong will to succeed won her the battle to help Harshan win Sapthathi. Like Samyuktha, we should also keep a positive mindset and feel strong to accept the challenges on our way.

Help others in need

Samyuktha is always willing to help the ones in need even if she is not gaining anything out of the situation. She helps Abhimanyu’s family by giving them a place to stay when Purushothaman asked them to leave. Samyuktha also prepares food for Abhimanyu and made Gopalakrishnan give it to him. She was willing to help out Abhimanyu when Varkey demanded his money back. Like Samyuktha we should never lose a chance to help others in need as it shows more strength than a weakness.

Win your battles with love

Samyuktha has always put her family before herself and she deals problems with love. When Saptathi is hurt by Purushothaman’s words Samyuktha was the first one to give courage to her sister. She did the same for Ashokan who was branded a lunatic by all. Even when Sharmilla is scheming against her, Samyuktha shows to Rajendran that she is a suitable bride for Abhimanyu. Like Samyuktha, we all should learn to approach difficulties with love rather than anger like Abhimanyu.

Always have a Plan-B

Samyuktha has saved Saptathi and Puthanveedu several times with her decision-making skills. The viewers can always expect something unpredictable about her as she is ready with a back-up plan. When Sharmilla used Rasheed to try and kill Saptathi, Samyuktha shocked everyone when she joined Ashokan to intervene and thus save the day. If it wasn’t for Samyuktha’s plan, Saptathi would’ve fallen prey to Rasheed’s move. We can all learn from Samyuktha to keep a backup plan when it comes to matters of work and even family.

Be brave enough to sacrifice  

Samyuktha’s most lovable trait is her willingness to sacrifice herself for her family and the ones she loves. Saptathi and Harshan could only marry each other because Samyuktha agreed to marry Abhimanyu. We all were left wondering on the edge of our seats when Karthiyayaniamma asked Samyuktha if she was willing to marry Abhimanyu. Samyuktha was well aware of the problems lying ahead if she were to accept Abhimanyu and she also lost Piyush’s proposal. Like Samyuktha, we all should learn to sacrifice things we love for the greater good as it shows courage than weakness.
