This September, ZEE5 brings you Forbidden Love– an anthology of four short romantic thriller films which explore the darker, more ominous aspects of romantic relationships, as well as the taboos associated with certain kinds of romantic relationships. Infidelity, jealousy, and claustrophobia are just some symptoms of a relationship headed south, or signs that we may need to re-evaluate the relationships that we find ourselves in. Arranged Marriage, directed by Pradeep Sarkar, is one film from the series that you can watch from September 9 on ZEE5. As you wait for its release, here are some films that you can watch in the meantime that examine the concept of ‘forbidden love.’
