Recently, the actress took to her social media page and shared the news about her big day. The actress got married to her boyfriend, Cory Tran. Pinto currently confirmed that she got married in Honda Center in Anaheim, California. She said right after her engagement, the couple started planning their wedding. She mentioned that she never wanted a big fat Indian wedding but a sweet and simple wedding. Speaking about how their secret wedding ceremony was, the actress said that it was perfect. They got married and then they got to go home and take an afternoon nap.

The couple was planning for a long time but were just not able to tie the knot because of the ongoing pandemic. She said that if they waited for the pandemic to end and keep planning on their wedding, it would take forever for the both of them. So amid Covid-19 lockdown, the couple decided one day to head to the Honda Center in Anaheim, California and just get married.
Freida is expecting her first child with Tran. In June, Pinto announced her pregnancy and had posted some amazing pictures from her baby shower. Since then she has been flaunting her baby bump all over her social media account.

On the professional front, in January 2021, it was surfaced that Pinto was to play the lead in a biopic of the SOE agent Noor Inayat Khan, based on the book Spy Princess: The Life of Noor Inayat Khan by Shrabani Basu. More recently, she and her Freebird Films company inked a first-look TV deal at Entertainment One.
