Neethane Enthan Ponvasantham, starring Dharshana Asokan and Jai Akash, is finally airing its new episodes on Zee Tamil today (July 27). While the ardent viewers of the popular telly show are eagerly awaiting the latest episode, let’s give you a quick recap on where we last left.

Anu and Ramya have been giving us friendship goals ever since the show’s premiere. So, here’s a look at their beautiful relationship and also why we think Anu needs a friend like Ramya.

Gives the right advice:

When Anu tells Ramya that she has lost her job and hasn’t told her parents since they will be very disappointed. Ramya advises her to speak to Suryaprakash once as he will solve her problem. Also, Ramya tells Anu that she should start looking for another job in the meantime. Ramya made sure that Anu does not worry about it further. Well, this is not the first time that Ramya has patiently listened to her problems and directed her to the right direction.

No jealousy

When Anu gets a job in a reputed organisation while she is pursuing her studies, not once did Ramya feel that Anu is doing better than her in life. She in fact was very proud of Anu and happy to see her friend having a job and that she could finally help her parents financially. Even when Anu loses her job and gets it back, Ramya is too happy for Anu as she no more has to lie to her parents about the job.

Ramya always warns Anu of the danger

When Suryaprakash’s assistant holds Ramya to find out the truth about Anu’s wedding with a naive neighbour. She tells them how Anu is not really interested in the wedding and has only nodded under her parents’ pressure. Later, Ramya informs Anu about it and asks her to be beware of the people she is dealing with at her workplace. Also, Ramya was really scared by the way Suryaprakash’s assistant approached her, yet that does not stop her being friends with Anu. Even when Anu’s parents were being humiliated by the moneylenders, Ramya brought Anu home at the right time so that the drama ends, while Ramya’s mother was wishing for more drama. Well, Ramya is nothing like her mum and that’s a relief.
