Abhijit treats Asawari’s son Soham as his own and shares a great bond with his father-in-law and daughter-in-law. In fact, the antagonist of this show is none other than Soham who keeps trying to hurt his own family now and then. From remarriages, step-fathers and villains in the house, this family has it all.

2. The Naiks from Ratris Khel Chale

From family rivalry and extra-marital affairs to murders in the house – the Naiks sure know how to take their fans on a gripping ride. After Anna’s mysterious death, the Naiks start facing paranormal activities and turn against each other in the process. Meanwhile, some members remain loyal to each other and try to fix the mess. 3. The Salvis from Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla

The Salvis are very poor but content in their lives. Two brothers, along with their wives and kids share a close bond and are ready to do anything for each other. There’s no drama, no hatred and no room for jealously among the Salvis. They’re all just a big happy family. It is truly refreshing to have something like this on daily soaps these days, right?

4. The Brahmes from Majha Hoshil Na

The Brahmes comprise of four mamas and their nephew Aditya. Following his parents’ death, the Mamas take care of him and raise him. Despite there being no woman in the family, the mamas make sure that Aditya gets all that he needs in his life –  a home, a caring family and the love of his life Sai.

5. The Desais from Pahile Na Me Tula

Mr and Mrs Desai have two daughters – Manasi and Megha. While Manasi is secretly married to Aniket, Megha has separated from her husband for good. Unbeknownst to all this, the Desais keep trying to arrange Manasi’s marriage and fix Megha’s broken marriage. It is hilarious to watch the sisters attempting to hide the secrets from their parents.
