Helmed by Atlee and bankrolled by Thenandal Films, Vijay’s film revolves around Maaran, a doctor, who is falsely arrested for the murder of his colleague, Dr. Arjun Zachariah. However, the doctor soon discovers that the real culprit is a lookalike, who aims to expose corruption in the medical industry. There is no doubt that Vijay’s Mersal is a masala, mass film and it could get you just the right vibe as you watch during this lockdown dinner time with your family.

Vijay Sethupathi starrer Sindhubaadh is a tale of a thief named Thiru (Sethupathi), whose life revolves around petty robberies carried out with his accomplice Super (Surya). This action mass entertainer is sure to impress audiences. Sindhubaadh, that sees Vijay Sethupathi and his son, Surya Sethupathi sharing screen space, is written and directed by SU Arun Kumar. It is bankrolled by SN Rajarajan and Shan Sutharsan under the production banners Vansan Movies and K Productions.

DhillukuDhuddu2 is a horror-comedy, written and helmed by Rambhala. Bankrolled by Santhanam (who is also the lead actor in the film), the film revolves around the characters Viji (Santhanam) and his uncle (Motta Rajendran), who basically are the troublemakers in their locality. Comedian Santhanam became the talk of the town when his Dhilluku Dhuddu When the film opened to a great response at the box office, emerging as a surprise hit, Comedian Santhanam became the talk of the town. Well, the film has a lot of scary yet funny incidents and can be the perfect watch for this weekend while stuck at home.

Iru Mugan, starring Vikram, Nayanthara and Nithya Menen, is a story of a tussle between an Indian RAW agent, Akilan Vinod and an international drug dealer (transgender), Love. Vikram, who is known for his mass masala entertainers, was lauded for his bold attempt in this film. Helmed by Anand Shankar, Iru Mugan revolves around Akhilan, who is assigned to track the culprit responsible for the attack on the Indian Embassy in Malaysia.
