While a woman holds Aarati’s baby, a man distracts Manjunath from them, and the latter is shocked and chases the woman as she tries to abduct the baby.

In the latest episode of Gattimela, Bettappa watches Amulya’s family being happy and gloats about them being unaware of the tragedy that is soon going to strike them. Elsewhere, a woman approaches Manjunath and offers to hold the baby. At that moment, a man approaches him and distracts him from the woman. Taking advantage of this, the woman abducts the baby. Meanwhile, Amulya and the others get worried as Manjunath fails to return to them. Elsewhere, Manjunath gets kidnapped along with the baby. Meanwhile, Sarthak tries to save them.

In the previous episode of Gattimela, the family members gather at the temple for Aarati’s baby’s naming ceremony. There, Suhasini surprises everyone by asking a priest to perform a puja for the wellbeing of Vaidehi and her children. While at the temple, Bettappa’s goons keep tabs on Amulya’s family. Vaijayanti notices two of these goons and grows concerned for the baby’s safety.

Amulya and the others praise Suhasini as she repents for her past misdeeds. Meanwhile, Manjunath and his family arrive for the naming ceremony. However, an ill omen leaves Parimala worried for Manjunath. During the naming ceremony, Amulya expresses her gratitude to Suhasini for arranging for a cradle for the baby.

We also saw Suhasini request Amulya to be a part of the naming ceremony and to perform the required puja. Furthermore, everyone rejoices as Amulya names the baby Virat and completes the ritual of placing the baby in the cradle. Elsewhere, Bettappa grows eager to exact revenge on them for Tejas’s death. Later, Parimala apologises to Suhasini for misunderstanding her and Suhasini apologises to her in return for her past behaviour. As the baby grows inconsolable, Manjunath decides to take him for a round around the temple.
