Gattimela 1 April 2021 Written Update: Ahalya learns about Vedanth and Amulya’s upcoming engagement

In the previous episode of Gattimela, Ahalya’s brother blames Vedanth for Ahalya’s condition and vows to destroy Vedanth. A worried Amulya arrives at Vedanth’s house. Later, Vedanth and Amulya celebrate Holi with their family.

In the next episode of Gattimela, Vedanth and others enjoy the Holi celebrations. Vedanth senses that the drink served to them has been spiked and asks the girls to not drink the same. The women are surprised on seeing Vikrant, Kanta and Sarthak’s strange behaviour after consuming the drink. On seeing Vikrant and Sarthak enjoying the drinks, a sly Amulya too consumes it.

Amulya, along with Vikrant and Sarthak, start dancing, leaving Vedanth worried. A few news reporters arrive at Vedanth’s house for a live interview to cover their Holi celebrations. The reporters tell Vedanth about Kanta having confirmed the interview on his behalf. Kanta tells Vedanth the reason behind doing so. Later, Vedanth introduces Amulya as his fiancee before the reporters.

Ahalya sees Vedanth on the news channel. She sees Vedanth with Amulya and is shocked when Vedanth talks about his upcoming engagement with Amulya. Vedanth praises Amulya in the news and credits her for the changes in him and professes his love for her. Hearing all this Ahalya starts screaming Vedanth’s name out loud. This leaves Ahalya’s brother startled. He gets worried when Ahalya locks herself in her room. Later, Ahalya’s brother is shocked when a decked up Ahalya leaves the house. Ahalya calls her friend Jaydeep and asks him to meet her.
