Gauahar Khan Attends Her Father’s Funeral With Her Family; Shares Emotional Post

Former Bigg Boss winner Gauahar Khan recently lost her beloved father, who had been hospitalised due to his deteriorating health. Zafar Ahmed Khan’s funeral took place and his last rites were performed at Versova, Mumbai, according to Muslim traditions. And, Gauahar Khan took to her social media to share her thoughts and feelings about her father’s demise in a very beautiful eulogy.

After being recently hospitalised due to noticeably deteriorating health, Gauahar Khan’s father passed away on the morning of March 5, 2021. Zafar Ahmed Khan’s last rites were then performed in a crematorium in Versova following his religious traditions and rituals. Wearing a white outfit, Gauahar attended her father’s funeral along with her mother Razia Zafar Khan, brother-in-law Awez Darbar and her husband Zaid Darbar. Dressed in more white outfits as well, many others were present at the funeral.

Gauahar Khan soon took to her social media handle to express her thoughts about his passing away and wrote some beautiful lines that accompanied an adorable photo of her father. The actor wrote that her father, Zafar Ahmed Khan, was her hero and that there has been no man like him. She also wrote that his death was a testament to the beautiful life he had and how beautiful his soul was. Gauahar sweetly added that although she had numerous similarities to her father, she could never have the magnanimous personality that he did. In another video that Gauahar posted next, her late father was seen praying for her during her wedding with Zaid Darbar recently. Remembering the moment, she stated that it remains her favourite memory too.
