Geet Dholi 04 January 2023 Written Update: Geet and Malhar visit Banaras

In the previous episode of Geet Dholi, Geet watches discreetly as the doctor tends to Manorama. Bhairavi tells Manorama that she should visit the Mehra House like a queen and the latter plans to punish Jasleen for taking her place in the Mehra House. Geet gets curious about Manorama’s past and reaches out to the local prison to dig out Manorama’s records. On being discouraged, Geet plans to use her music to reach out to the prison. Geet heads to the penitentiary with the help of Avtar Kishan and performs for the prisoners. Eventually, Geet slides into the record room and pulls out Manorama’s records but gets caught by the jailer. However, the jailer empathises with Geet and tells her more about Manorama’s crime, Bhairavi’s birth as well as Manorama’s fateful death.

In the next episode of Geet Dholi, Geet feels shocked on learning about Bhairavi’s birth and the jailer promises to help Geet with more information if need be. Geet returns home and feels puzzled about Manorama’s identity and her intention to harm the Mehras. The next day, Jasleen walks up to Geet’s room with JK and asks her to perform the ritual on Lohri. Soon, Geet breaks down in front of Malhar and tells him about Bhairavi’s past as well as the jailer’s testimony about Manorama’s crime and death. Geet plans to visit Banaras with Malhar to unearth the truth about Manorama’s enmity with JK as well as Jasleen. Manorama gets discharged and Bhairavi takes her to her house. The former refuses to accept Bhairavi’s house as her own and insists Bhairavi take her to Mehra House.

The Mehras make a list for Lohri celebrations as Malhar agrees to take Geet to Benaras to trace back the past. Bhairavi calls the Mehras at the behest of Manorama, Ginny takes the call and mistakes Manorama for a confectioner. Manorama urges Ginny to hand the phone over to JK but Jasleen takes the phone and expresses her disbelief about Manorama’s call. Soon enough, Diamond grabs the phone from Jasleen’s hand and berates her for calling. Manorama justifies reaching out to the Mehras and promises to crash the Lohri celebrations. Manorama worries Jasleen as she calls herself JK’s wife. Geet and Malhar overhear Manorama’s call, they decide to head to Banaras immediately. Kammo rejoices on hearing about Manorama’s arrival as Malhar and Geet rush to JK’s former music school. They beg JK’s music teacher, Bhola Ji Maharaj, to reveal the murky details about Uttam Kumar, JK and Manorama’s past. Eventually, Bhola Ji Maharaj opens up about Uttam Kumar’s murder.
