Geet Dholi 06 January 2023 Written Update: JK meets Manorama in the prison

In the previous episode of Geet Dholi, Kammo and Ruby criticise Geet as Jasleen asks Ginny to call Geet. Kammo insists that Geet has changed since JK made Geet the MD of his venture and that she barely has the time to celebrate Lohri with the Mehras. Bhairavi walks in and announces that she would be lighting the bonfire. Jasleen asks Bhairavi about Manorama’s whereabouts but Bhairavi refuses to answer Jasleen and proceeds to set the bonfire ablaze. Just then, Malhar intervenes and reminds her that she does not belong in the Mehra House. Geet walks in just in time and asks Bhairavi to light the bonfire out of compassion but Bhairavi picks a fight with her. Jasleen gets angry at Bhairavi’s callousness and slaps her. Just then, Manorama walks in with her wedding card and confronts Jasleen. Later, she tells the Mehras that she is JK’s wife and that the house belongs to her. Geet keeps Manorama from entering the Mehra House and exposes her in front of the Mehras alongside JK.

In the next episode of Geet Dholi, Geet plans to reveal the truth about Bhairavi but JK falls ill all f a sudden. The police arrest Manorama and JK gets taken to his room without addressing the truth about Bhairavi. Jasleen feels glad about Manorama being brought to justice and regrets being unable to protect Bhairavi from Manorama. Lahouran cuts Bhairavi’s complaint short and reminds her about Jasleen’s selfless love for Bhairavi. Eventually, Lahouran reminds Bhairavi about trying to poison Jasleen despite Jasleen’s unconditional love for Bhairavi. However, Bhairavi defends herself and accuses the Mehras of abandoning her. She goes on to criticise Jasleen for separating Manorama from her once again. Bhairavi vows to teach Jasleen a lesson and Geet ousts her after giving her a fair warning.

Geet overhears JK’s self-talk about putting on an act about falling ill in an effort to keep his secret under wraps. Away, Manorama schemes against JK while recalling a crucial detail about Uttam Kumar’s death. JK resolves to meet Manorama and settle his dues with her in jail. The Mehras set the bonfire ablaze and celebrate Lohri with pomp. After the celebrations, Geet tries to analyse JK’s actions and plans to visit the prison to learn about JK’s well-kept secret. Just then, Simone calls Geet and threatens to kill Malhar with the help of Bhairavi. Though worried, Geet tries to ignore the threat and rushes to jail. Geet thanks the jailer for arresting Manorama. In the interim, JK meets Manorama in the prison and tries to gain closure about their last encounter in Banaras. Meanwhile, someone records their conversation.
