Ghani First Look Released, Varun Tej Fans Thrilled

Varun Tej Konidela is all set to pack a punch with his latest Tollywood flick, Ghani. The intent, which undoubtedly will please his fans, was clear with the makers of the film releasing the first glimpse of the film – Ghani First Punch.

Dubbed a sports drama, the 39-second teaser that the makers released shows Varun Tej entering the ring to deliver the KO on his opponent. Kiran Korrapati has directed this action flick. Allu Bobby and Sidhu Mudda are jointly bankrolling this film under the banner Allu Bobby Company and Renaissance Pictures respectively.

The much-anticipated teaser has also hinted at the date of release of this film and it will hit the theatres on December 3, 2021. The actor too has Tweeted the news of the first punch of Ghani and assures to give the fans an impact beyond imagination for it is here that passion meets emotion, he avers.

Olympic champion Tony Jeffries has shed his sweat with Varun Tej to bring him up to shape with the true demands of a professional boxer. The makers completed the shoot recently and now are in full swing with post-production work. Saiee Manjrekar is the female lead opposite Varun Tej. Naveen Chandra plays the onscreen adversary.

This offering marks the maiden production venture for Sidhu Mudda and Allu Venkatesh and their Renaissance Pictures banner. Hollywood action sequences pro Larnell Stovall known for all the action cuts from hits such as American Civil War, Captain America has choreographed the adrenalin rush scenes.

What has warmed the hearts of Varun Tej’s fans is the intense look that he has brought to the fore in this professional sporting role. The film also has important roles for Jagapati Babu and Sunil Shetty. The makers had initially drawn up plans to release the film in theatres on July 30. As is the case with most release plans this year, the date had to be deferred due to the second wave of the pandemic. With the release dates now confirmed, fans may and will surely start the countdown.
