In a recent podcast interview, the 24-year-old supermodel talked about growing up with her father while he struggled with substance abuse. Hailey Bieber was on the familiar ground when it came to helping Justin Bieber on his road to recovery.
The pop sensation spoke honestly about his problems with addiction to marijuana, alcohol, psychedelic mushrooms, pills, and other substances in the 2020 YouTube docuseries Justin Bieber: Seasons, describing them as “an escape” for him. Hailey Baldwin is the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin, who had a cocaine addiction in the past. The Victoria’s Secret model revealed on a Nov. 10 session of the VS Voices podcast that growing up with her father during his substance misuse battle helped her prepare to support Justin with his.
“There’s a lot of addiction in her family,” she explained. “Not just her father, but a lot of other individuals on that side of her family have suffered from a variety of various things.” Justin Bieber was always candid about why being sober worked for him and why he needed to be clean, as well as what alcoholic behaviour looks like and how it manifests itself.

She went on to say, It was really tough to look back on moments of drug usage and being in some dark places and then have to go back and talk about it. She was never someone who suffered from drugs or alcohol, but that’s because her father made her so conscious of the problem. Justin Bieber had a cocaine problem, and Hailey was certain that she would never take it because she was afraid that if she did, it would lead to something worse.
Hailey revealed on the show that growing up around individuals in recovery helped her understand how to assist her husband on his road to recovery. Justin and Hailey got engaged in July 2018 and announced their marriage in November 2018. In 2019, they were married in front of their family and friends.
