Among the newest generation of Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor is the most promising. He has been a great performer. Be it drama, Horror, a thriller, retro film or a romance flick, Ranbir has shown his capability time and again with his audiences falling in love with his acting aesthetics. He has been performing unconventional roles, some do well, and some of his films fail to do well with the box office. His exceptional talent and skills are just what filmmakers look for in an actor. On his 39th birthday, here’s a tribute to our versatile hero.

We all know that Ranbir has a chocolate boy personality and is quite comfortable doing his romance roles on screen. We saw him on screen in Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar, Tamasha, Shimit Amin’s Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, and many more, doing things out of the box. He played characters that were different.

Ranbir Kapoor has a powerful presence in comedy films too. From Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Beshaaram, Jagga Jasoos to Barfii, his sense of humour and timing proved that he can ace comedy movies with much ease than many other mainstream actors. He certainly makes the audience laugh.

In his career spanning over ten years, he has experimented with many scripts and tried to bring something interesting for the audience every time. After a series of not so great films and a series of flops, Ranbir tried his excellent skills with Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha. However, it turned out with sleeper success due to its slow story. Only after years of the release of Tamasha, the audience saw through his acting skills and appreciated his efforts. He has remained to be a permanent favourite for a long time.
