Aditya Dhar, a director, recently married the actress. The couple married in a small wedding ceremony in June of this year. Now, the actress from ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ is getting ready to celebrate her first birthday post marriage. Yami revealed her birthday plans in an interview with a leading newspaper, calling this birthday “extra special.”

Yami stated that she intends to spend a full day with her family, with breaks in between shootings. Her mother is flying in from Chandigarh, and she is looking forward to the trip because they will be going to some other town after this. That is something she is very ecstatic about. Her in-laws have already arrived in Delhi, and she plans to join them in celebrating. The Badlapur actress also revealed that she spent her birthday last year working in Himachal Pradesh.

Yami’s most recent film appearance was in a digital horror-comedy. She recently wrapped filming on Lost and shared an emotional message on Instagram. With a big smile on her face, she recalled the wonderful moments she had while operating on this special film. She sincerely thanked the entire cast and crew of ‘Lost,’ who became a part of her journey as the days passed. She also expressed her gratitude to Tony da, who is not just one of the most talented directors she has ever worked with, but also a wonderful human being.

She went on to say that a film like “Lost” can only be directed by someone with the best of intentions! They faced numerous challenges, including the seasonal changes, the chaos of shooting on location, and the battles of shooting in congested areas during the pandemic, but they stayed together as a team and it was all worth it in the end,” Yami added.
