Wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav hasn’t got a lot of chances to prove himself in the last two years. He has played for India as well as for Kolkata Knight Riders. Several people questioned his bowling skills after he could not make it to the 11 players team. However, his team member Harbhajan Singh made a few statements about the players. Here’s how the player supported Kuldeep Yadav during his tough times.

Harbhajan Singh on Kuldeep Yadav’s bowling :

Kuldeep Yadav is a left-arm chinaman bowler and has played only  4 T20Is in the past two years. He was last seen playing against Sri Lanka in January 2020. Even during IPL 2019 and IPL 2020, Kuldeep only played in 14 games for Kolkata Knight Riders. In a recent interview with TV9, Harbhajan Singh shared that he doesn’t find anything wrong with Kuldeep’s bowling. He has been a match-winner for team India and for team Kolkata Knight Riders in the past.

Harbhajan added that when Kuldeep joined the Indian team, nobody guided him as to how to bowl. He has the same skill set and has improved even more since the past few years according to Singh. Singh said that Kuldeep has been putting the same efforts. He called him a hard worker and mentioned that he will come back stronger. He added that it is a part and parcel of the lives of players and has happened to many players in the past.

Harbhajan was bought by KKR for Rs 2 crore during the IPL auction in 2021. He recently bowled his first over against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 11, Sunday. He mentioned that during his initial career, even he was extremely nervous about his bowling skills. However, over the years he has gotten the hang of it. He was glad that he bowled the first over well. He wanted to bowl more but that couldn’t happen. However, he is looking forward to bowl more in future matches. Kolkata Knight Riders recently played against Mumbai Indians and lost by 50 runs.
