On December 20th, HBO Max released the much-anticipated trailer for ‘Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts.’ It’s a forthcoming extravaganza that will reassemble the performers and creators from the 8 movies Wizarding World saga, which will premiere on January 1. The first film in the series, ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,’ was premiered in November 2001, and the event will mark the movie’s 20th anniversary.
The Warner Bros. Studio Tour London filmed the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, which will unite stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson.
Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Matthew Lewis, and Evanna Lynch will all be in attendance. David Heyman, Chris Columbus, Alfonso Cuaron, Mike Newell, Ralph Fiennes, and David Yates are amongst the helmers of the films
The cast discusses the films in the trailer, as well as the celebrations in the Great Hall. “It seems like years have flown and plenty of time has elapsed,” Watson remarked, adding that what had terrified him was “the suggestion that the most significant event in our lives was accomplished,” and that revisiting everyone is “delightful” since he realized “it’s not.”
J.K. Rowling, the acclaimed novel series’ writer, was not featured for ‘Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts,’ and will only be represented in archived material from the films. Rowling has established as a figure of instantaneous, and apparently eternal, controversy among the ardent and massive ‘Harry Potter’ fanbase as a result of her anti-trans views.
