The Zee Punjabi serial Heer Ranjha’s instant success mantra is the justified re-imagination of the immortal story with the perfect cast. Amaninder Pal Singh has successfully played Ranjha, Sara Gurpal looks amazing as Heer, Rahul Jaittly scores full marks playing the evil Kaido. As the story focuses on the struggle of the lovers, it has captured their love and embedded moments that give us major couple goals.

Since she is a girl from Jhang, Ranjha initially hates Heer, but when she gets lost in Takht Hazara and the villagers come to catch her, he runs away with her. His feeling for Heer change and he helps her reach her home in Jhang. In the jungle, Heer comes up with a plan and Ranjha agrees to follow her. Even though the plan doesn’t work out, boys should take note that tamping down on their egos and going with their lover’s instincts might just immortalise them.

After Ranjha manages to send Heer to Jhang, he misses her and begins to believe that she’s the one. Ranjha manages to reach Jhang disguised as a bangle seller and meets Heer again. When he gets exposed, Heer tells him to go away as she still hates him. But that doesn’t stop Ranjha. He decides to go to Jhang again. Even the boatman argues with him,  he still manages to convince him. Ranjha shows us that giving up is not an option when it comes to an immortal love story.

If you are not dedicated enough, then you don’t love. Time and again, Ranjha proves his deewangi and dedication towards Heer. When Heer tells Ranjha that if he wants her forgiveness, he has to forget her, Ranjha enters Heer’s house and becomes their servant. He does everything with utmost dedication because all he wants is Heer’s respect.

Apart from dedication, daring is another essential quality that a lover should possess. When Ranjha’s sister-in-law Shaquat challenges him to go and bring his Heer from Jhang, he agrees to do so. Chori chuppe apne ishq nu milan layi vi daring chahidi hai. Ranjha’s tough decisions has proven the fact that he is a daredevil and will do anything for his love.
