Understand science: Although it may sound weird, it is important to understand what you are getting your hair into. The hair colour, bleach, and dye – everything is made of chemicals. While certain chemicals do good, a few could harm your hair.

Washing your hair:  Many things change once you colour your hair. And if you do it frequently, you ought to be more careful than ever. Switch to washing/shampooing your hair with cold water and stick to washing it once a week, maximum twice.

DIY all the way: The internet is full of recipes that you can blend and use to ensure a healthy scalp, hair and hair growth. Ditch your chemical products and move to DIY hair masks to give your hair the glow it deserves.

Champi! Champi! Champi!:  We all have been listening to this. But it’s time to put oiling your hair to practice. The old are called wise for a reason, and the good old coconut oil has to be the wisest of them all.

Stay tuned for more tips and tricks of the fashion world. As the actor reels in the success of her latest film, Commando 3, you can watch her in-conversation here. Or check out her co-star, Sudheer Babu’s film, Nannu Dochukundavate on ZEE5.
