The character of Madeshwara is played by Aryan Raj. Madeshwara- who was believed to be the reincarnation of Lord Shiva-was born in Kaliyuga, according to legends. The young saint from Srishaila is said to have performed several miracles in his life for which he was known. The serial has struck a chord with the audience for its novel content. Aryan is a model-turned-actor who hails from Maski, a small town in Raichur, Karnataka. It was his performance in another mythological show Hara Hara Mahadeva, where he played Lord Vishnu, that helped him bag the role of Madeshwara in Uge Uge Madeshwara. 

Aryan’s love for acting prompted him to participate in several plays during his school days. After attaining a degree in mechanical engineering, he decided that modelling was the best way for him to gain a foothold in the world of acting as that would give him enough exposure and help him understand how the industry functioned. Having pursued modelling for three years, he finally got his first real break in Hara Hara Mahadeva. This is still considered as one of his most appreciated performances.

In the serial Uge Uge Madeshwara, Aryan is playing a mix of characters as Madeshwara as well as a common man. It is a prestigious project for the actor as this is the first television show on this multi-faceted mythological character.
