Here’s Why We Think Mazhya Navryachi Bayko’s Radhika And Mangalsutra’s Vasudha Are Similar

Mazhya Navrychi Bayko’s Radhika (Anita Date) is an ideal woman in many ways. She is the perfect housewife, daughter-in-law, and mother. She manages the house, tends to her husband’s needs, looks after her in-laws, owns a successful business, and is a doting mother to Atharva. All in all, Radhika is everything most women aspire to be.

Zee Marathi show Mangalsutra’s Vasudha is another such personality. She and her husband Narayan’s peaceful life gets disturbed when the latter is falsely accused of murder by their landlord. Narayan is sentenced to prison leaving Vasudha to tend after their three young children. She moves out of the village and goes to make a living in Mumbai. She has no time to mourn her husband’s arrest, who is practically unable to support them anymore. Vasudha starts gathering resources and tries her best to take care of her two sons and one daughter.

Radhika and Vasudha are both selfless, which is one of the many valuable traits present in most mothers. They overlook their own needs when it comes to their children. The two are also extremely protective of their kids and are fearless. Radhika and Vasudha have both gone through their share of ups and downs and have emerged stronger. They both manage a source of livelihood on their own to look after their families. Another noticeable trait of the two is that they are highly independent and prove that they don’t need men to make their lives complete.

Radhika happened to find love in Saumitra again after being betrayed by her first love Gurunath. But she is a strong individual who would have still been as loved and successful without these men in her life as well. Vasudha doesn’ have a similar fate like Radhika but she manages just fine on her own too. The two use their wisdom and strength to get ahead in life and are a source of inspiration for men and women alike. They both prove that nothing is impossible if one is determined, kind, and strong-willed.
