2020 was a tough year for everyone. And it made it even tougher for us to celebrate our festivals. Yet, all of us made sure we celebrated the festivals with all safety precautions and social distancing in place. Our favourite celebrities too celebrated the festivals in their own ways and shared their stories with us. Here’s taking a look at how our celebrities celebrated different festivals this year.Â
Shraddha Arya’s Navratri and Ganesh Chaturthi
The Kundali Bhagya actress celebrated her Navratri at her home, worshipping and offering her prayers to Goddess Durga. Her home was really well decorated. Take a look at her Navratri story:
She also shared her story of celebrating the Ganesh Chaturthi. She posted a picture of the idol of the lord with a caption that said that their idol was an eco-friendly one.
2. Dheeraj Dhoopar’s Karwa Chauth
Dheeraj Dhopar, our favourite actor from Kundali Bhagya, shared his story on Instagram about celebrating Karwa Chauth with his wife. The couple were looked great together.
3. Kanika Mann’s Diwali
Kanika Mann shared lovely stories of her celebrating the festival of lights. She posted a picture offering prayers to the Gods’ idols at her place, with a caption that said that this was the first time she had to celebrate Diwali away from her family.

This actress from Tujhse Hai Raabta celebrated the festival of Eid and shared a story of it. She had put on a festive outfit and posted a picture of the same on her Instagram:

One of the most loved actors in India, Divyendu Sharma, who plays the lead in the web series Bicchoo Ka Khel, shared his Diwali celebration with his fans. He celebrated it with his wife at their home.
6. Kunal Khemu’s Rakshabandhan and Holi
Kunal Khemu shared his story of Rakshabandhan which almost everyone will relate to. This year, due to the pandemic, the siblings and cousins could not celebrate the festival together and chose to do it via video calls.Â
He also shared a story of him celebrating Holi, which was really sweet. He shared that he played Holi after many years because his daughter requested him to join her. Isn’t that sweet?
7. Kriti Kharbanda’s Ganesh Chaturthi
Kriti Kharbanda also celebrated her Ganesh Chaturthi in the best way possible. She got an eco-friendly idol of the lord, which was in a plant pot. This would mean that after the festival, the idol would grow into a plant!
8. Paoli Dam’s Diwali and Ganesh Chaturthi
The lead actress from Kaali, Paoli Dam, also shared her story of celebrating Diwali. She celebrated it with her family at her home and shared a beautiful picture of hers.
She celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi by offering prayers to her little temple that she has made at her home, where she placed a little idol of Lord Ganesh. She posted a video of the same, with a caption that said that she was celebrating the festival in her own little way.
9. Sharad Kelkar’s Diwali and Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration
Sharad Kelkar celebrated Diwali with his family and friends. He posted a little video of his family wishing his fans a Happy Diwali. He also posted a picture with his friends, when they celebrated the festival.

10. Mugdha Chaphekar’s Diwali and Ganesh Chaturthi
This actress from Kundali Bhagya shared her Diwali story with a nice little message: Light a Diya of Love. She was well-dressed in the picture and looked beautiful while holding a diya.
On Ganesh Chaturthi, she put up a picture of the lord’s idol with just one word in the caption: Morya!
11. Neha Marda’s Karwa Chauth
Neha Marda shared her story of celebrating Karwa Chauth, away from her husband, Ayushman Agrawal. Due to her work, she couldn’t be with him but that did not stop her from celebrating the festival.
12. Jyoti Sharma’s Diwali
 Jyoti Sharma shared her Diwali stories with pictures of her lighting firecrackers and arranging diyas at her home.
