Hrithik Roshan Spills Beans On Evolving Internet; Says It Differs From ‘Set Mould Of A Celebrity’

The 52nd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa is raising a lot of buzz for a variety of reasons. Hrithik Roshan recently gave a virtual course on acting and spoke candidly about his personal career. He talked about the steps he takes to give the character while he’s portraying his own personality.

Hrithik stated that the first step is to make a connection with the script’s character. Half of the task is done after you’ve established the foundation of knowing that the feelings that your character is experiencing are ones that you can relate to. From then, the entire path of seeking and searching begins. You’re always looking for that man (character) within yourself. The way any actor appears walks and acts are determined by how close you are to that character. And magic comes when you uncover the character’s edge.

The War actor also believes that the big transformation brought about by the internet is tremendous and beneficial. He expressed his joy at the large number of new performers that have joined the cast. The breadth has widened, and the talent he has been witnessing on film is truly amazing. It makes him pleased since he believes that all types of individuals in our social sphere should be portrayed in film in a pleasant way.

He went on to say that he believes the superstar mould that had been established is crumbling. Actors have to adapt within a preconceived image of a celebrity. And it is utterly detached from reality. He believes that this mould is growing into something greater. He believes it is now possible to customise it. Those who wish to make it now must thus put in a great deal of effort. Actors are required to train for five to six hours. Consider yourself as though you were an Olympic athlete. He also highlighted the training aspect, saying that one must train like an olympian athlete, who practices for hours.
