Indian Pro Music League is almost on the verge of finding its ultimate winner. The show kickstarted with Karan Wahi and Waluscha De Sousa announcing that the beautiful relationship between a teacher and a student would be celebrated on its stage during its weekend episode. All the debutantes sang a song for the captains and then gifted them a gift to honour them. Later in the second league match of the fourth innings, the two top teams UP Dabbangs and Gujarat Rockers competed against each other.
Super League Match – UP Dabangg Vs Gujarat Rockers
The first round of the league match was the Brahmastra round. Payal Dev and Amit Gupta from UP Dabbangs were welcomed for their first performance. They sang the song O Saki Saki and received 22 points. From Gujarat Rockers, Laaj came for the first round and received a super sixer as she sang the song Kesariya Balam.
Captain Javed Ali then welcomed legendary singer Osman Mir. The second round of the IPML league match was based on folk songs. Captain Bhoomi Trivedi and Hemant Brijwasi from Gujarat Rockers sang the song Udi Udi Jaaye. Their performance was appreciated by the judges and they got 20 points in this round. From UP Dabbangs, Salman Ali, Rupam Bharnariya, Amit Gupta and Payal Dev gave an amazing performance as they sang a fusion of two songs – Resham Rumaal Ka and Tumhein Jo Maine Dekha.
Salman Ali welcomed his guru Manoj on the stage. He then sang his iconic song Sajda. Later, Osman Mir and all the team members played Garba.
The third round of the IPML league match was based on devotional vs inspirational. The whole team of Gujarat Rockers came for the performance. They sang the songs Phir Se Udd Chala and Rubaroo. They scored a total of 20 points. Rupam Bharnariya gave a beautiful performance as she sang the devotional song Mere Maula. She received a standing ovation from the judges and a super sixer as well.
The fourth round was all about romantic songs. Captain Javed Ali created a romantic aura as he sang the song Tum Jo Mil Gaye Ho. He received a super sixer from the judges and they also mentioned that his performance reminded them of his teacher – Ghulam Ali. Captain Ankit Tiwari from UP Dabbangs came on the IPML stage for the fourth round. The judges were stunned by his performance as he sang the song Mere Bina.
For the IPML ultimate face-off, it was captain Ankit Tiwari and Salman Ali vs captain Javed Ali and Hemant Brijwasi. They sang the song Haji Ali. Both the teams were given super sixers for the face-off. UP Dabbangs won the match with 114 points while Gujarat Rockers lost by two points as they scored a total of 112 points. UP Dabbangs now stands on the top with ten points while Gujarat Rockers still have 9 points in the score table.
