The official Instagram account for ZEE5 premium recently shared the BTS photos from the sets of Jamai 2.0 season 2. The second season has finally gone on floors after months of speculations and anticipation amid fans. The first photo shared by the team of Jamai 2.0, Nia Sharma and Ravi Dubey can be seen posing together as they hold together the clapperboard for the very first scene of the second season. The second photo shared by ZEE5 Premium on its Instagram features the entire cast and crew of the second season coming together to attend a cake cutting ceremony. Check out the post below –

The upcoming season of Jamai 2.0 has been simply titled ‘Jamai 2.0 Season 2’. This season will mark the return of the original cast which features Ravi Dubey, Nia Sharma, and Achint Kaur in the lead roles. Achint Kaur had garnered an abundance of love and appreciation from fans for her performance as DD Patel in the first season. The second season of Jamai 2.0 is not just special when it comes to bringing back the original cast for yet another outing but also cause ZEE5’s indigenous short-form video sharing platform HiPi had launched India’s first-ever digital audition which aimed at casting a pivotal character in the latest season of the show. Aspirants from around the country sent their entry in the HiPi Star Hunt audition where one talented actor/actress would be given their big break in Jamai 2.0 season 2. The male lead of the show, Ravi Dubey had initiated the call for entries. This proved to be one of the ways aspiring actors could find their big breaks without going through the hassle of industry monopolization.

The show will feature the original cast from the first season and the story ahead will act as a continuation of the first season. Jamai 2.0’s first season had garnered a lot of praise from both fans and critics alike which resulted in it becoming one of the biggest ZEE5 series. The first season was later on dubbed in multiple regional languages like Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil for fans speaking these regional languages to enjoy the series. Since the second season has just commenced filming, it will be a while before viewers will get a glimpse of what is to come in the future.
