Jamai 2.0 Season 2: Not DD But This Character Was The Master Puppeteer All Along!

Jamai 2.0 Season 2 recently started streaming on ZEE5. The web show is a revenge drama based on Sidharth, Roshni, and DD’s lives. While season one gave us a clear indication about the reason behind Sid trying to destroy DD, the new season will help the viewers join all the dots thereby unfolding mysteries that were not answered in season one. While we all thought DD was playing the game all this while, turns out the master puppeteer was someone else. Who was pulling all the strings to fulfill his own motives? Have a look.

In season one of Jamai 2.0, Sid was determined to take revenge on DD when he finds out that her daughter is devastated because of her missing father. DD had always tried to keep Roshni away from her father and viewers even saw Roshni getting a hint of her father’s whereabouts in season one.

While nothing was revealed about him then, season 2 started with the mysterious death of Anna by a lady who was maybe hired by some Dubai based don Thalapathy. While many thought Sid will win this game and DD will be destroyed forever, the story took a turn when Sid and Roshni found her dad. He came home and supported Sid. Roshni was elated to have her father by her side while DD was just fulfilling her daughter’s wishes.

With several mysteries unfolding, Sid was finally able to reach DD’s son Ajit Patel who he considered to be his sister’s murderer. While Sid kidnapped him, he didn’t kill him and instead called up DD to get all his answers.

Sid confronted DD where they connected some dots. First, Sid asked DD about Anna’s death which she said she didn’t do it. DD also explained that Anna asked for money from DD which she kept at his house. In their conversation, they finally reached the conclusion that the Dubai based don Thalapathy is behind Anna’s murder and he is also trying to take revenge on DD.

When Sid and Roshni were reuniting with the family after all the chaos, Abeer comes in and arrests DD along with her son Ajit Patel. It is then revealed that somebody tipped off the police about DD’s location. While we all thought the game is over, well, it had just begun. Because this whole time it was Roshni’s father who was playing the real game. He is the don of Dubai and he was planning the master plan to take over DD’s empire.

Ahana is his daughter and she came to lure Abeer for Thalapathy. Even DD’s nephews played her as they joined hands with Roshni’s father. Besides this, calling Sid into DD’s life, catching Ajit Patel and getting DD behind the bars, was all a part of the big plan planned by Thalapathy. In the last few scenes, Thalapathy or DD’s husband goes to her and tells her that he is ready to take her responsibilities.
