It is the wedding season and recently we witnessed a strong and beautiful bride, Geet, get married on our favourite television show Jamuna Dhaki. The show stars Sweta Bhattacharya as Jamuna and Rubel Das as Sangeet and has been very loved by its loyal audience for a long time now. Recently, we witnessed Sangeet’s sister, Geet, get married and it was a beautiful event, to say the least!
Indian weddings are known for their grandeur, and Geet’s wedding in Jamuna Dhaki was no less. It was a beautiful and (eventually) successful event that took place amidst the presence of the bride and groom’s families, some serious challenges, quite a few tears of joy and happiness and much more. We saw a lot of Jamuna Dhaki characters, dressed in bright and beautiful ethnic attires, come together to be a part of Ved and Geet’s wedding on the show.

In an exclusive behind-the-scenes video, Sweta Bhattacharya, who plays the role of Jamuna, introduced us to all the stars who were a part of the wedding sequence and showed us around the set too. Although she kick-started the process by herself, her on-screen husband Sangeet Ray, played by Rubel Das, soon joined her too. One by one, the duo introduced each of their family members in an adorable video as the camera followed around.

In a fun interaction with the camera, Sweta Bhattacharya extended to us a warm welcome into the wedding set of their show and showED us around. We saw the wedding mandap, the decor, some of the crew of Jamuna Dhaki including the director, the cast of the show, and many other things as they took us along for a fun ride around their set. While the actors appeared to be relaxed and waiting for the shoot to start, the director definitely looked stressed out in the middle of such chaos on the set.

While all of the actors were ready in their gorgeous outfits and had their makeup done, most of them were very careful to constantly have their face masks on as a precautionary protocol of the ongoing pandemic. The actors seemed extremely cordial and lovely as they interacted with each other out of their on-screen characters. Happily greeting Rubel and Sweta, each of them had something adorable to say to the camera too.
